URBAN DEVELOPMENT OF PREŠOV

The topic of the diploma thesis is the urban concept with a functional and spatial filling of an unused area in Prešov enclosed by the build-up parts of the city. The area under consideration is characterized by the non-conceptual construction. The goal is to close the gap in the residential structure, to densify and connect the city, make it compact and legible, to use the potential of the territory to create a city of short distances with sustainable development and human scale. Respond to problems with traffic congestion, suburbanization and lack of housing in the city.
