RECONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN L. SLIAČE

The diploma thesis deals with the existing elementary school area and the buildings that make up the school. The proposal seeks to rationalise the current operation and address the future operation of the pavilion type school, which does not correspond to today‘s teaching conditions. Based on analyses of the condition, volume and layout of each building, it proposes the demolition of the non-conforming pavilions and the subsequent consolidation of the school into one main volume with the construction of a new gymnasium building. The proposal also deals with the new operation of the site, the use of the areas and the connection to the surrounding infrastructure.
