This bachelor’s thesis documents the initial phase of development of a microwave diagnostic device. I took part in this project as part of a collaboration between the design studios of the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague and the BioEM research team from the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. In this paper, I primarily focus on designing a concept for further development, emphasizing the functional and ergonomic requirements of helmet, which serves as the main interface between the doctor and the patient and has a significant impact on the speed and accuracy of each examination.
