Water Cast Iron Pump

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a hand pump made of cast iron, which was created in cooperation with Kovoplast. The traditional design of hand pumps has hardly changed for decades and therefore my work tries to adapt the look more to today's times. My goal is to create a pump that not only meets the technical and functional parameters, but also fits aesthetically into a modern public space.
