Housing Libeň

Two parcels and a street between them, leading under the bridge and to Rokytka. High Libeň, opposite Libeň as a cottage colony overgrown with bushes. I like both. From the east, the plot is cut off by a road and a railway viaduct, under which the Rokytka river winds and a cycle path along it. I keep the strip of trees defining the southern boundary of the street, on the other side I build houses that complete the block. Both characters meet here. At the corner under the bridge, at the end or beginning of the street, I place the workshop house. Behind the green wall to the south I design a more fragmented structure, white houses hidden in the trees, open to the south. The topic of the project is housing. Open, comfortable, flexible. And the neighborhood. Apartments can change and grow with their residents. We kind of live outside, together, we sit on our porch and look at the trees and the sun.
