GEOMETRY OF A MARKETPLACE

Annotation
The marketplace Geometry invites customers to enjoy their shopping for produce in a comfortable new space. The designed building directly connects to the existing market area, leading buyers underneath a flyover to the site with the new marketplace. Its shape was created with this flow of people in mind, while not forgetting about the right orientation for wind and daylight to get in. The designed market offers high climatic comfort throughout the seasons. The roof plays a key role thanks to its dual orientation. It comprises structural units, their exciting geometry creating an elegant curve of the roof – thanks to the use of hyperbolic paraboloids.
my key experience from erasmus
The opportunity to study abroad is worth it all - the troubles with various documents, the chaos, the deadlines...
My experience in Asia has given me a lot - in so many ways. You learn about new education systems and approaches to students. You find out that you are actually strong enough to do many things on your own. You also find out it is incredibly freeing to ask for help. Your eyes do open thanks to travelling and exploring new cultures. It does sound like a clichè, but when abroad (and in Asia especially), you see life standards that differ from ours a lot. It is something that's really hard to understand all the way from Europe.
