Kampa community centre

The community centre is located on Kampa island in the city centre of Prague, although it is surrounded by park and green space. It is spreading out on the shore line of the river Vltava. Main concept is the connection of the park, community centre and river coast, but at the same time separatation of the spaces into public, semi-public and private. The community centre is bordered by the wall, which closes the atrium. Rooms are oriented towards the atrium and one sees it already at the entrance. The atrium serves as a space that can be used in summer and the surrounding rooms can be opened into it, and one large space is created by connecting. On the side of the park, there is a front garden in front of the community center which serves children to play, study and relax.
