Stoyka
Annotation
The market is located at Wenceslas Square, on the site of the city walls. In the neighborhood we find the National Museum, the Opera, the Federal Assembly, but also the Central Station. With its grandeur, the building tries to build on symbolic landmarks. The subtle and lavish market is based on the Greek stoy, a place for market and gathering. This market is not destined only for sale of products. It is a multifunctional, continuously floating, covered public space. Reinforced concrete prefabricated construction is a inexhaustible kit. In the heart of the action, the building also offers more intimate areas in a landscape from organic stairs. Contact with the street is enabled by the facade of luxfer. Shopping here is a panoramatic promenade, and everyone is free to look for what they dream of.
