An Urban Oasis

Äußerer Matthäusfriedhof is a cemetery built in the 19th century and it has now lost its charm and remains a symbol of its history and memories. The sole intention of this development is to revive the place and use it for today’s needs. A nursery for endangered species of plants have been working in the cemetery and a notable work in terms of sustainability has been initiated. Collaborating with the existing functions, the project looks forward to bringing in an undisturbed nature which will function as an oasis for the whole urban environment.
