Urban Concept of the Horse Market in Turnov

My proposal addresses the urban concept of the area in Turnov called the horse market. This area is in a convenient location with respect to the city center and offers attractive connections with the Jizera stream. The main pillars of the concept are mixed new development and landscaping around the dominant building of the former industrial building. On the scale of the whole city, this area creates a barrier in the natural recreational corridor leading along the Jizera river. Therefore, I propose a walking and cycling path along the Jizera, which will connect the nature park in Dolánky and the new recreational area Maškova zahrada and at the same time will create an attractive waterfront environment which is now inaccessible to the public.
