The village Zdiby is located north of the capital city of Prague and consists of 4 settlements: Zdiby, Veltěž, Přemyšlení and Brnky. Although it is a municipality made up of several settlements, it is not possible to define local centers for human interaction. There is no identification with your own environment. It is not clear where the center of the whole village is located, if there is any. Today, the administrative center is located in Veltěž, but it is not defined in any way other than the address of the municipal office. Another big problem was the construction of a highway in the eastern part of the village in the 70s.
