For The Soil — Lipnice nad Sázavou

A project deals with soil erosion in a small town called Lipnice nad Sázavou. Soil erosion endangers essential functions of the land, those linked with nature itself as well as those in relation to us, human beings. Fifty percent of the arable land in the Czech Republic is threatened by water erosion as a result of a mixture of factors. For Lipnice nad Sázavou one of them being its dramatic terrain, that amplifies the results. That is why I chose to work on dealing with erosion on this site and designing a number of arrangements that would slow down this process. Then, in greater detail, I worked on a renewal of a field path which vanished somewhen after the year of 1925.
