Mixed Use of Urban Block

The assignment was one of three multifunctional city blocks in the proposed garden district in Modřany. The building is divided into three main uses - commerce / administration / housing. The intention was to create a quality of both outdoor and indoor space for each of these components, which will not interfere with each other. Living as a combination of city and nature emphasizes the outdoor living space in the form of loggias, terraces, courtyard, which provides tenants with a sense of privacy but does not occupy public space. It is concentrated around the perimeter so that it seamlessly connects to the commercial parterre. Last but not least, the administrative open space, where it is also important not to forget about the sufficient dimensioning of the outdoor areas, which I incorporated within each floor and used the roof as a recreational floor.
