The former brewery complex in Turnov

The complex of former Svoboda’s Brewery and later headquarters of bus transportation in Turnov, is located at the historical part of the town. For the proper function of the whole complex, it was also necessary to solve its close surrounding. Therefore, the street line of Sobotecká and Tázlerova streets was complemented by new apartment houses with commercial use on the ground floor. The south border of the complex is marked by Stebenka brook, which is hemmed by the dense green vegetation. The brewery, located in the centre of this area and surrounded by greenery and housing objects, offers wide variety of usage for public, which makes it an important hub of not only the complex, but also the whole town.
