Floating Sauna

The aim of this project was to design a sauna building in the nature. In this conception there has been used an opportunity of water existence in a pond. Spa allows to use the water area instead of the cooling pool or shower. Sauna building uses the already existing building of the former border watchtower from the times of former political regime, which is located in the Cheb region. The sauna building is floating and is attached with ropes and buoys. Functionally, the tower is divided vertically – on the ground floor is a sauna, on the first floor there is a rest room and a diving board. The stability of the tower is ensured by 35 plastic barrels. The sauna is designed for two or three people.
