Turnov - Koňský market

Koňský trh is a brownfield in the center of Turnov. In my design, I try to connect the historic city center and the river embankment. The axis from west to east is important - from the river to the center, which is supported by the dominant of the neo-Gothic church on the horizon. The new passage through the territory along the north-south axis is intended to relieve traffic in the neighboring Sobotecká street. I designed a new park and used the existing building of the former glassworks for organizing workshops and a permanent exhibition of glass. The new development consists of blocks of two to three-storey apartment buildings with commercials on the ground floor and family houses.
