Kladruby - Republic Square

Revitalization of the main square and the surrounding area in Kladruby, West Bohemia, which has got a character between the town and the village. The town of Kladruby, with the famous monastery in the background, according to its current character, may be a town only by title. And maybe it doesn´t even want to be a town. In the proposed concept, the square retains the formality of the town and takes over warmth and softness from the village. Its compositional features based on the medieval market town are underlined, where the main axis is the main street and the pocket forms a square.
