Pankrác's Skyscraper

The site lies in a complicated situation but in an important place, on the Pankrác Plain. The floor plan of the house is given by the limits in the underground - the underground floor of the OC and the metro station C. The material solution responds to the surrounding situation. The site is located in a place where the direction of the orientation of the development changes, where Na Pankráci street deviates and changes in Budějovická street and the second direction separates here - Na Strži street, where the houses of Pankrác II housing estate are oriented perpendicular to Na Pankráci street, but OC and the surrounding high-rise buildings are already rotated in this direction, they react to the direction of the street in Na Strži. The proposed house reacts in the lower part on Na Pankráci Street and uses the maximum area defined by its limits, but through the central part it is compared until in the upper part it is connected with the orthogonal floor plan by orientation to the surrounding high-rise buildings.
