The Imprint

I have decided to breathe some life into the steel construction besides quarry Pětka in Lipnice nad Sázavou, which is not in use anymore. In the past, it served as a base for a rotating crane used for mining granite. It is the object of certain historical value, referring to the mining processes which happened here in the past. I have put some places for sitting into the metal construction. In the middle of this construction, there is an interactive architectural feature bearing a resemblance to a crane. This kinetic element works as a pulley and children can manipulate the machinery freely. With the aid of a lever, the bucket of the crane can be moved up and down.
