Prachatice barracks

In the studio assignment ZS 2019/20, we, together with the co-author Tobiáš Tatíček, conversed the barracks complex as the largest territorial reserve in the town of Prachatice. We checked the qualities of the former military complex, which is directly connected to the historic core, and designed a wide range of housing in family and apartment buildings and civic amenities in the form of a federal house, fire station, sports hall, steam houses, pub and colonial. We interwoven the barracks with the functions that the citizens of Prachatice in their city would like. Within my implementation studio, I focus on the quality of public space throughout the territory and the addition of urban furniture.
