Bark Beetle Path

The bark beetle path is located at a glade near town of Lipnice nad Sázavou. The bark beetle has been around the city for several years. The glade I chose for the design was created only a few years ago, when many trees had to be felled due to being hit by this pest. Today, when an attentive man walks through a glade, it is as if he were walking on fallen tree bark, showing bark beetle figures beneath his feet. The memory buried into the ground. From the southern part, this place is surrounded by a stone ridge, from which there is a beautiful view of the mighty castle Lipnice. The visitor can get to the stone ridge from the White Tower through a footbridge, which ensures a comfortable transport to the ridge.
