The architectural design of Catholic Theological Faculty of Charles University is located in the New Town in Prague in the gardens of the Emmaus Monastery. The mass of the building complements the street row of apartment buildings in Vyšehradská Street. The building has 2 underground and 4 above ground floors. The core is a communication space with a direct staircase, around which important functions of the building are located. In addition to classrooms, cabinets, and chapels, a large part of the building is a library, which serves mainly to the needs of the faculty. The underground parts of the building are used as technical facilities, depository and garage.
