Kladno - Green system

The proposed green system works with various types of green, public and open spaces throughout the city area, including streets. It takes into account their current state and proposes different levels of maintenance and new green and blue infrastructure elements, which should be incorporated in the newly designed destinations. The other option is they should be just added to the modern and of high quality ones but not fully compliant with standards of the green and blue infrastructure in sustainable cities. The system consists of spatially static PLACES (public open spaces with elements of G&B infrastructure) interconnected by a network of spatially dynamic CONNECTIONS (green grid system - linear G&B infrastructure), which also proposes some kind of hierarchy in streets and includes more movement opportunities.
