In the proposal for Jihlava, I try to ensure that public spaces are suitably designed mainly for the needs of people and are not intended only for means of transport. I focus on important places such as historic main city routes or outdoor areas in front of major buildings. The result is a reduction of transport hubs and the use of these newly created spaces, for example, as outdoor seating. I modify street profiles including bike lanes and alleys, I try to slow down busy roads and complete the build-up areas. I define the entrances to the historic centre and, last but not least, I connect the city parts of both sides of the fortifications.
