Guesthouse in Stvolínky

Scenic village center of Stvolínky lost its urban structure after a few buildings were demolished in the past. One of them used to be a guesthouse and former town hall on a corner plot. The task was to fill this corner plot that takes place between the main road and the castle. The aim was to gently fill in the urban structure while respecting the scale and volume of surrounding village houses. I designed two gable houses connected with a high wall. There is a shop and apartements in one building and a pub in the other one. I continue the tradition of a guesthouse on this plot.
