Hospital of the Future Prague-Letňany

Project demonstrates the design process of healthcare architecture with empirically verified standards and regulations. Morphology of the hospital is a result of functional optimisation. The shape ensures effective workflow by its elliptic-radial infrastructure. Whole project respects the patient privacy, which is secured by dividing panels, that creates parametric facade generated from parametrized water surface, which symbolizes the origin of life same as the hospital does. Fluid shape of facade evokes. Sufficient amount of green exterior in form of park culture represents a memento, that hospital is not a place of death, but rather a place of life, which should be protected and preserved here.
