ALTER EGO of the royal road

The aim of this project was designed several significant changes in public spaces on the route leading from the Prague city centre specifically from the Old Town Square through Kaprova street, around Rudolfinum, over the Mánes Bridge, across Klárov towards the end of the Chotkova road. Our intention was to create a dignified alternative for the historically based old Royal road which goes over the Charles Bridge to the Prague Castle. The local inhabitants and improvement of their everyday life was emphasized in our design. This urban planning study solves comprehensively the whole route and should improve its pedestrian permeability.
