Social Housing

Our project of a house in Kreuzberg seeks to show that even affordable housing can be of high quality, offer comfortable spaces, and provide its inhabitants with a dignified lifestyle. We aim for the house not only to provide a place to live but also to enable pleasant leisure time and to foster a sense of community. The design of the house makes sure to respond to the challenges of the location, as well as to leverage the districts' strengths. Kreuzberg is a district of Berlin which has been significantly shaped by its difficult history. We have been, therefore, aiming to respectfully draw upon the location's history while making sure to breathe in some fresh air into the district's character.
