City living_Výtoň

Project of an apartment building on Výton in Prague. The biggest problem of this project was the disposition, because the land on which the house stands has less than 80 m2. On the ground floor there are spaces for a shop, on the next four floors there are flats 2 + KK. Each has less than 60 m2. The facade is made of gray masonry. The wooden slats on the north façade serve as shading, but also to increase privacy. I have chosen wooden slats as a reference to the original purpose of Výtoň, place for collecting tolls for wood floated on the Vltava river.
