Annotation

When designing the cast iron radiator, I was mainly inspired by the process of hot water flowing from the boiler to the radiator and cooled water out of it. So I found shape inspiration mainly in flowing curves and organic structures. I also incorporated a seam into the shape of the segment, which is created during the production of a cast iron radiator in a two-part form. I also focused on the form of the internal structure of the segment. This part serves both to connect the front and back walls of the radiator segment and to increase the area of the entire radiator, which will significantly increase its heating efficiency, which was also my goal. The manual head complementing the radiator is based on its side curves and the hexagonal shape of the nut end.
