Apartment building for students

The building for students in Berlin is based on the creation of common and private spaces. The goal of the concept was to create ideal housing for students, which would offer the opportunity to form a community. These goals were reflected in the design by the duplex apartments and the community garden on the roof. There is a student café on the ground floor. The yard is designed for students and residents of the surrounding houses. On the first and second floor there is an apartment for students, where the first of the floors in the duplex apartment is a social one with a kitchen, study and a living room. The second floor is private with bedrooms and minimalist bathrooms. This is repeated in the next two floors. The fifth floor is meant for exercise. The facade is made of cork.
