RESIDENTIAL BUILDING IN MALA STRANA

A new residential building in Mala Strana has been designed in the current park in U Luzickeho seminare street. The author tries to locate the object into the historic urbanism sensitively and present-daily at the same time. Therefore emerges the building, which has an arcade as an important component in the ground floor where the main entrances to the commercial and the residential parts of the building are located. The residential part includes four floors, whereas the last one differentiates by its colour and also sets-back - the author tries to come near the historic roofs by colour and proceed to the historic moulding contemporaneously, furthermore creates terraces with the view on the Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge. There is also a café and retail spaces in the ground floor.
