LIVING IN THE CITY – PRAHA ZLÍCHOV

Ján Fröhlich

Annotation

The solution is based on the effort to exploit the potential of the plot for as many future residents as possible without disturbing the character of the surroundings. When placing and shaping individual parts of the mass, lighting and views from the apartments, the connection of the interior with the exterior and respect for the inhabitants of the existing houses played a role. The house consists of three buildings with separate entrances. The division of the mass increases the diversity of new buildings as individual objects adapt to the situation. Garden-street vistas will be preserved, the buildings will naturally divide the land and a semi-public and private space will be defined. Landscaping is designed so that the buildings look like free-standing houses in the garden on a slope.
