Kindergarten U Kaštanu

The kindergarten is situated in a sloping triangular terrain between U Kaštanu and 8. listopadu streets in Břevnov. With its shape and mass, the building freely follows the shape of the land and respects the existing buildings. It also maintains a view from the main street Bělohorská. The building is firmly set in a slope. The integrity of the façade is disturbed by the irregular composition of the windows and the accent of the untraditionally conceived main entrance on the corner of the building, supported by the placement of a contrasting flag.
