Annotation

The project tells the story of the area in the middle of the city Prague that act as a green sponge and as a natural reserve of water. The story is about a new environment where urban nature can be both seen and felt, where the rainwater management play significant role and where the social life is supported in various ways. The project serves as an urban park collecting storm water from the new urban district around and provides multiple ecosystems services. The design of the storm-water park adopted an ecological approach with the purpose to collect, clean and store the rainwater in constructed wetlands.
