Living Countryside - Železný Újezd

During the winter semester, I focused on the rural landscape on a large scale. My processed area was the cadastral territory of the village Železný Újezd falling under the village Čížkov in the eastern part of Brdy. Smaller village located mostly in the pastoral landscape in the foothills of the Brd with a specific character, which in the lower places forms a grid of small meadows closed by tall borders. As part of a comprehensive solution of the area, I chose a component dealing with the human and residential side in the rural landscape. From the analyzes performed within this topic, the main topic for me emerged, namely the improvement of the permeability of the given area.
