Candle holder

For this assignment I made candle holders. The main idea of my concept is that you can use the two pieces both separately and together by stacking them. Both pieces have a hole for a long candle and a small tea candle, you can see this by flipping them. You can stack them in any way you like and they will hold steadily since the chamfer of the symmetrical one fits perfectly into the asymmetrical one. Also the asymmetrical piece has a little rim which ensures stability. Both pieces are made out of ceramics and glazed in beautiful colors. Of course all different colors are possible and since glazing is a chemical process each piece will be unique. To produce these candle holders you only need a two part mold for the two different pieces.
