The water streams are an exciting opportunity to explore the history of urban development and restore mistakes, that have been made and still can be repared. The streams carry not only a huge ecological and social value, but also they represent a witnesses of history. The streams have been present during the first settlements to which they often became a reason. Then they have been put underground as they no longer served the original purpose. Nowadays, during the climate change and rais- ing need for ecological functions and solutions, the streams are again in center of attention and offer us a hope, of bringing nature and life into the cities.
