A buckle, a broach and a pattern

The idea of semestral assignments comes from the transformation of an old chinese game called Tangram a its variations. The broadly taken subject connects more standalone projects into a one final comprehensive output which shows the concept of correlative accesories. The task was to create your own monogram with only a limited number of the Tangram geometrical play piecies. The solely graphical part of this assignment was concluded by a whole typeface. The Buckle and a tiny accompanying design (earrings, cuff buttons, broach...) directly follow the arrangement of the initials of the monogram. At the same time emphassis has been put on function, the enclosing mechanism and harmonisation of the whole which is accentuated by the textile print pattern.
