Czech House in Taiwan
Annotation
The Czech House with the Consulate is located in the capital of Taiwan, Taipei. The goal in creating the space was a sense of closeness and belonging between the two countries, while maintaining and separating the functionality of the space in terms of privacy. This is achieved by dividing the house into three zones - private, public and semi-public - connected by an atrium. The atrium with ramps is a place of meeting and communication between visitors. The comprehensive program includes a consular, representative and residential part as private. Administrative and visa department as a semi-public and restaurant, theatre and classrooms as a public part.
