Veleslavín

The basic idea was to create a pedestrianised centralised space at the Veleslavín junction. Car traffic is going down a level from the current terrain, trying to open up space primarily for pedestrians and cyclists, without a chaotic crossing at the intersection. The next green corridor proposal supports the newly proposed sites and links them between them. The material solution of the structures responds to the scale of the historical and porepublic construction. Towards the European Class, the mass arrangement is reduced and broken down into smaller units, which are better connected to the current surrounding structure. The newly proposed areas are interspersed with greenery that runs from a regular layout to a sprawling, loosely connected green corridor.
