Representative hall of the castle in Buštěhrad

Hana Mojžišová

Annotation

The Baroque chateau in Buštěhrad near Kladno is a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. In more than three hundred years of its existence, it has experienced a period of glory, serving as a refuge for King Charles X, and a gradual decline. At present, the chateau is managed and restored by the town of Buštěhrad, and a library and town hall have been established in the repaired wing of the chateau. In my design, I deal with the renovation of the main hall on the second floor of the castle and the adjacent three smaller halls. The large hall will serve as a concert and representation hall with a capacity of one hundred guests and for the needs of the city. There is a bar and a lounge in the adjoining rooms.
