The concept of the semester assignments is based on the transformation of the ancient Chinese game Tangram and its shape variations. The broadly conceived theme combines several projects into the final output of a comprehensive concept of interacting fashion accessories. Based on the composition of geometric shapes of Tangram, the task was to create monogram using a limited number of pieces. By developing variants, a Tangram alphabet was created. The buckle and small accompanying design (earrings, cufflinks, brooch, ...) is directly related to the compositional solution of the author´s monogram initials. It emphasizes the function, fastening mechanism and harmonization, which is accentuated by graphic design of fabric print (wallpaper).
