Annotation

Supported accommodation building is located in Prague 6 on the corner of Zikova and Šolínova street. The design reacts mainly to the increasing tendency to place the housing for the elderly in the suburbs, which results in a certain separation of these people. So the main idea of the project was to integrate the elderly back to the society and create a pleasant and safe place for living and spending their free time. There are total of 52 apartments of various sizes in the building. There is also the dining area, several social spaces and the physiotherapy department, which could serve not only for the residents, but also for the public. Moreover, there is the relief service, that can provide a short-term accommodation for ten people.
