Urbanism of the Veleslavin

The Veleslavín district is situated between the high rock massifs and the main street Evropská. A railway line passes through the site, to which a project for moving underground has already been created. In the center of the city district, the area of car salons and services, which are demolishing historically valuable houses, is still growing. On the eastern side there is a closed impenetrable area of the old and the new heating plant. The location of Veleslavín suffers from a lack of greenery, public space and civic amenities. Therefore, a proposal was made to improve the situation, the aim of which is to open the site to people with the help of a new square, parks and pedestrian passages through the castle grounds. New buildings for housing and civic amenities are being built.
