Collection of slippers MOCCIES

Moccies is a collection of slippers made of leather, designed mainly to be worn indoors but thanks to the rubber sole they can also be worn outdoors. The collection is designed for women and men of all ages. The main inspiration for Moccies was the shoes of the original inhabitants of America, namely moccasins. They were mostly made of two or three pieces of animal skin, and their design was very different from what is known as moccasins. They were decorated with various fringes and coloured embroidery from beads and, as today, they were most often worn barefoot. My idea was to design shoes from one piece of leather and thus simplify their production even more. Small minimalist embroideries secure glued joints and are reminiscent of the decoration of the moccasins of that time.
