CZECH CONSULATE AND CZECH CULTURE CENTER

The given task of this work was to design of the Czech house and the consulate in Taipei the capital city of Taiwan. The given site is located on Guiyang and Guilin Road, respectively. The final design was inspired by typified office in Czech Republic. Simple and clean mass creates perfect contrast with adjacent buildings. The aim of my work is a good-quality and good-operational disposition of all works in the building. Good light within the house is delivered by an atrium, which is the dominant part of the house. The atrium creates the heart of the house providing light and main communication space in the building. The material within the last but one and the last floor is shifted providing a terrace for two accommodation units and for the consul’s needs.
