RECONSTRUCTION OF APARTMENT IN LIBEREC

The solved project is the reconstruction of an attic apartment 4+1 for a family of four. Apartment building from the 1940s. is located in a residential area of Liberec. The aim of the project is a complete reconstruction, including changes in layout. The design addresses the creation of an airy living room with a connection to an easily separable kitchen, the creation of a sufficient amount of storage space, a new fireplace, a balcony and a place for work and rest. The new layout includes an entrance hall, bathroom, toilet, wooden room with dining area, kitchen, bedroom, children's room, study and dressing room. Part of the load-bearing wall is replaced by steel beams, which are inserted into the interior. The design works with industrial materials combined with Sandinavian style.
