REVITALISATION OF JIŘÍ Z PODĚBRAD TOWN SQUARE, NOVÝ KNÍN

The main aim of the revitalisation of the town square was to connect its upper and lower part and to enable the creation of a larger continuous open space in front of the church for multifunctional use of public space for various purposes. Landscaping is proposed within the design, which allows these two previously separated parts by different height levels barrier, to connect. The concept of revitalising of the town square does not aim to change the current appearance of the square. However, the small and moderate changes can lead to an effective change of the centre of Nový Knín.
