Annotation

On a very peculiar corner site in a location that is heavily burdener by trafficI designed an assembly of two objects - a house with flats and an administrative building. Why build two buildings which both look different from each other instead of one? Because diversity of forms and functions is what makes city a city. While administration is more exposed to the traffic noise from the crossroad, flats are oriented into the garden of an open yard in which old trees of admireable size grow. The garden is seperated from the street by a wall and is fully available to the people who live in the house. Administrative building also has a place to spend time outside on the fresh air - a residential rooftop with a café. Both houses thus have a place for meeting with others.
